Our story

How El Paso Porta Potty Rental works

El Paso sits at the western tip of Texas on the Rio Grande, in the Mountain time zone, with the Franklin Mountains rising above the north side of town and the desert running out to the east. The climate sets the restroom work here: long hot summers, a monsoon from mid-June to September and arroyos that carry water fast when it rains upstream.

The request is taken by El Paso Porta Potty Rental and passed to a local provider. The provider delivers, services and collects the units, and it confirms the price for each site before anything is placed.

Who the request goes to

The restroom work is done by an independent local partner, under its own state registration

This line takes the request, asks where the site is and what the job needs, and passes it to the nearest available independent local company. That company brings the units, services them and carries the waste off. El Paso Porta Potty Rental owns no trucks and employs no drivers, so the firm that quotes you is the firm you are dealing with.

The obligations ride with that firm. Texas does not licence the renting of portable restrooms as a trade, so the credential worth asking about is on the waste side: moving chemical toilet waste in Texas requires registration with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality under 30 TAC §312.142(a), with disposal only at authorised facilities and a manifest for the customer. The partner must hold that registration, keep its own liability and vehicle insurance, and answer to the state office behind it. That is its duty to discharge, not a thing this website has checked on your behalf. For a site in Sunland Park, Santa Teresa or Anthony, New Mexico, the rules are New Mexico’s: the Environment Department’s liquid waste programme regulates septage pumping there, so ask the partner which registration covers your address. Whether El Paso adds a local hauler permit of its own was not established either way.

The number is yours for the asking. Phone (888) 351-0294 and the registration number is read to you, or ask the company when it calls to set up the drop, and you may ask to see the certificate before you sign anything. It stays off these pages because it belongs to a private business and is not ours to publish. With the number in hand you can verify it yourself at the TCEQ, or with the New Mexico Environment Department for work over the state line.

What we hold ourselves to

Count first

Units are set for the number of people and the hours, not for the guess made on the phone.

Check the truck route

A unit that cannot be reached by a service truck is a unit that cannot be serviced, so the route is checked before delivery.

Know the state line

Texas and New Mexico rules differ, and the provider confirms which rules cover the site.

Write the schedule down

Delivery day, servicing days and collection are agreed in writing before the unit arrives.
